Dear Friends,
A planned two days at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota during June turned into two weeks of tests and procedures. I am staying strong despite lots of wear and tear on my body and mind. Staying in ‘spiritual’ spaces helps keep me beyond ‘wear and tear’ and in a space of energizing and healing.
I then went to visit my family on the East Coast, not knowing how this battle with cancer would end up, and returned home to Honolulu to begin chemotherapy again along with the Phoenix Tears adjutant therapy I had already begun.
My energy level is pretty low most of the time, but then people are surprised at how energetic I appear to still be. Go figure! However, from the reduction of the level of symptoms I can feel (like pinched nerves in the neck and arm) it is very clear that the situation is improving.
I am scheduled to return to the Mayo Clinic in late September.
Special Projects
This is to acknowledge the efforts of David Korn, Media Special Projects, in putting together a section on our website called “Our Founder” . This section is about Stuart Scott’s life and accomplishments. This has all been part of an ongoing effort by David to create a Wikipedia page for Stuart.

Scientists’ Names Read at Houses of Parliament – Second Warning to Humanity
On July 22, Ed Gemmell, Founder of World No Disposable Cup Day, read out the names of every one of the 21,000 scientists who signed the World Scientists’ Warning to Humanity: A Second Notice (2017). The names were read outside the Houses of Parliament in London, England, and was live streamed on Facebook with the help of FBL Broadcasting. The paper was signed by Dr. William Ripple, lead author of the Second Notice, and Distinguished Professor of Ecology at Oregon State University, who is on the SW Advisory Board.

SW Videos
We invite you to view and share videos from the Scientists’ Warning YouTube channel:
http://www.scientistswarning.tv
Our latest video, which was first recorded in March, features an interview with Dr. Peter Wadhams, Professor of Ocean Physics, and Head of the Polar Ocean Physics Group at the University of Cambridge. The discussion pointed out several areas where science and scientists are not being completely objective.

Volunteers
The Scientists’ Warning Team welcomes your assistance. It is quite by intention that we do not seek funding. First, it puts an organization in competition with other allied organizations for the scarce philanthropic funds available. Second, it subjects the organization to the editorial bias of the funders, which is sometimes subtle and sometimes overt. Third, establishing a budget based upon fundraising forces an organization to devote significant time and energy to covering the ongoing budget from month to month and year to year.
Since we are not funded, all work of the Scientists’ Warning initiative (.org and .TV) is accomplished by our teams on a volunteer basis. Please consider joining one of these teams.
